I understand the differences in characteristics of both types of line but would like to know the reason for this. Can anyone explain why Braid ratings seem ... My 3 favorites in no particular order are DeepLiner, Hearty Rise, and Poseidon. The DeepLiner logicals and Poseidons, as you know are true slow pitch rods. So they are subject to that occasional wish I didn’t do that lift. Otherwise, stick with your Stella 20K, because you do not absolutely need a high speed reel for casting to tuna. It wasn't made to beat the Stella or saltiga. It was built so that all the okuma junkies could get rid of their Stella's and saltigas and say "look at me!".
